3. Mixed drink technology in the FAN universe is woefully unadvanced. No Prohibition you see, to spur development. But the below is very potent.
¼ tsp Pernod
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp water
2 dashes (about 1/8 tsp) brandy bitters
2 oz. (1/4 cup) Virginia or rye whisky
Put Pernod into icy cold glass, turn glass so liqueur coats the inside. Add sugar, water and bitters, stirring to dissolve sugar. Fill glass with ice cubes, add whisky, stirring well. Drop in lemon twist.
