The Arroyo de Quatros Hombres (Four Men's Gulch in English) is an area of Mexico del Norte best known as the site of the Battle of Arroyo de Quatros Hombres during the Rocky Mountain War. The name's idiosyncratic spelling and grammar (the proper Spanish would be Arroyo de los Cuatros Hombres) suggests that it was given by Anglos with a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish.
