In-universe is any information written from the point of view of someone from the alternate timeline where the British won the North American Rebellion and For Want of a Nail is a non-fiction work describing the history of that timeline. Most of the articles on this wiki will be written from an in-universe point of view, though some may contain information written from an IOW point of view, and clearly demarcated as such.
