James Kilroy of the New York Herald.

James Kilroy was a columnist at the New York Herald in the 1920s. Kilroy was alarmed at the growing unrest in the Confederation of North America in the early 1920s, writing on 23 June 1922, "The faint aroma of Starkism has made its appearance, and both the opponents of our civilization and its supporters seem pleased by the possibility of its return." Kilroy became an enthusiastic supporter of the Galloway Plan, writing that "It came like a spring rain on a muggy day."
