Margaret Hale of the Jefferson Herald.

Margaret Hale was a reporter with the Jefferson Herald and a persistent critic of the Mercator regime. Hale disappeared from her home on 15 June 1966, and was never heard from again. Sobel believes that Hale was kidnapped and murdered on Mercator's orders.
